1.Lata Mangeshkar
Swara Kokila Lata Mangeshkar said goodbye to this world forever on 6 February 2022. Born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Lata didi made everyone crazy with her melodious voice. His father Deenanath Mangeshkar was a renowned theater artist and music expert. Lata Mangeshkar has also been awarded with names like ‘Queen of Melody’, Swara Kokila, Nightingill of India for her wonderful contribution. Lata Mangeshkar sang her first song at the age of 13 for the 1942 Marathi film ‘Kiti Hasal’. Lata didi’s name has become immortal forever in the world of voice.
2.Sidhu Moosewala
There is a lot of craze for the songs of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in the youth. Sidhu Musewala’s fan following was also tremendous but this famous singer was murdered on 29 May 2022. Musewala was murdered as part of a conspiracy in which miscreants gunned him down in his car. People were deeply shocked by the sudden death of the singer.
3. Bappi Lahiri
Bappi Lahiri is called the King of Disco and Pop. Belonging to a Bengali Brahmin family, Bappi Lahiri started playing tabla at the tender age of just 3 years. He gave Indian music a special identity in the whole world. Bappi Lahiri has also worked in Bengali, Telugu Kannada films along with Bollywood. Even today people like Bappi Da’s songs very much. Bappi Lahiri died on 15 February 2022 in Mumbai.
4. KK (Krishnakumar Kunnath)
Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, has made a different identity for himself in the world of music. Famous singer KK has worked as a playback singer in films. He has given many superhit songs to Bollywood like ‘Pyaar Ke Pal’, ‘Yaaron’, ‘Aankhon Mein Teri’, ‘Khuda Jaane’. His fans love each and every song of his. KK said goodbye to this world forever on 31 May 2022. Before his death, KK also gave a music performance in a college.
5. Tarsme Singh Saini
Famous singer of 90s Tarsem Singh Saini passed away at the age of 54. People fondly called them by the names of Stereo Nation and Taj. Has given many superhit songs like ‘Taj Ne Pyar Ho Gaya’, ‘Naachenge Saari Raat’, and ‘Gallan Goriyan’.
