According to sources, Amit had not taken permission from the police headquarters or the state government regarding book writing and webseries production. Not only this, his role in arranging the amount for the production of the web series was being investigated. It has been said that there is an alleged transaction of about Rs 50 lakh between Amit Lodha’s wife Kaumudi Lodha and Khakee’s production house. According to an official statement, the allegations of corruption have been found true in the investigation conducted by the department on Amit. Amit Lodha has been suspended from his post if the allegations are true.
