Mumbai Actress Rani Mukerji’s daughter Adira Chopra turned seven, and a celebration was held in Mumbai on Friday to mark the occasion. The party was attended by several Bollywood celebrities including Karan Johar, Rekha, Sonam Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, their kids Viaan and Samisha.
Tusshar Kapoor also attended the birthday party. Karan Johar chose a pink sweatshirt for the party. He was talking on his phone when the paparazzi captured him. Sonam wore a yellow long dress with a black sweater and matching earrings.
Rekha wore an off white elegant saree with heavy earrings and bangles. She accessorised her look with black glasses. Tushar wore a striped shirt. Shilpa wore a red coat to attend the birthday bash with her kids-daughter Samisha and son Viaan.
Rani married film producer Aditya Chopra in 2014. They became parents to Adira in 2015, a year after their marriage.
Rani has acted in many films like Ghulam, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Black, No One Killed Jessica, Hum Tum, Mardaani, Yuva, Saathiya, Veer-Zaara, Bunty Aur Babli. She was last seen in 2021’s Bunty Aur Babli 2 alongside Saif Ali Khan. The film, which released last year, marked their onscreen reunion after more than a decade. It was directed by Varun V Sharma. Rani is occasionally spotted at film events and parties.
She will next be seen in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. The film is set to release in theaters on March 3, 2023. The film is directed by Ashima Chibber and written by Rahul Handa and Sameer Satija. It is produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani in association with Zee Studios under their banner Emmay Entertainment. The film is inspired by the true story of an Indian couple whose children were taken from them by Norwegian welfare services in 2011.
