Recently, news has come to the fore that Uttar Pradesh Police has recovered fake passport of the actress from three foreigners in Noida. Noida Police and Cyber Cell have arrested three members of the Nigerian gang.
During the investigation, the police recovered counterfeit US$1.3 million and £10,500 from members of the gang. Not only this, the police have also recovered Aishwarya Rai’s fake passport, six mobiles, 11 sims, laptop, printer, pen drive and 3 cars from the accused.
The police is questioning them as to what they used to use Aishwarya Rai’s fake passport. According to the police, these criminals along with their accomplices used to commit cyber crimes. They used to commit cyber crimes by cheating people by becoming Facebook friends and becoming custom officers.
According to the police, the Nigerian gang members used to pretend to be representatives of the companies to provide herbs at exorbitant prices. They have been continuously targeting people through matrimonial sites and dating apps for a long time. Apart from this, the criminals also cheated a retired colonel from the army to the tune of Rs 1.81 crore. After which the colonel lodged a complaint with the police. Now the police has started investigating the case and exposed the gang.
