Today, 37 years have been completed for Anupam and Kiran’s marriage. On the occasion, Anupam received a beautiful picture of the mandap from his father’s chest during his wedding which he shared with the audience through the indigenous micro-blogging platform, Ku App.

They were both part of the Chandigarh Theater Group. In 1980, Kiran moved from Chandigarh to Mumbai and her first marriage was here to businessman Gautam Berry. Their son Sikandar was born in 1981 and after a few years they got divorced due to differences.
Anupam’s first marriage was with Madhumalti in 1979 and he too was not happy with this marriage. Anupam and Kiran met in Kolkata for Nadira Babbar’s play. As they liked each other, the two started meeting frequently. Both decided to divorce their partners and got married in 1985. Anupam adopted Kirron Kher’s son Sikandar and gave him his surname. Since then, they are recognized as one of the most successful couples of Bollywood.
