Salaam Venky Movie Review: In Hindi cinema, films have been made on many serious diseases, which try to instill positivity. These include films like ‘Ghajini’, ‘Anand’, ‘Hichki’, ‘Piku’, ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and ‘My Name is Khan’. Now the name of the film ‘Salaam Venki’ has also been added to this list. This film has been released in theaters today i.e. 9th December. Revathi is making her directorial debut with this film.
Revathi is a well-known name in South Cinema and Bollywood. And Kajol is making a comeback on the big screen after almost 16 years with this film. Earlier, she appeared in the 2006 film Fanaa with Aamir Khan. The funny thing is that Aamir will also be seen in this film. Actually he has a cameo in the film. The film stars Kajol and Vishal Jethwa in lead roles, along with actors like Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Aahana Kumra and Prakash Raj.
Story
The film is based on the story of a sick son who is fighting a battle with death and in this battle his mother i.e. Kajol supports him at every step. In this film, emotions and feelings between mother and son have been shown very closely, seeing which you will also become emotional. Vanky has a disease called DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy), in which a person dies at the age of 16 to 17, but Vanky is able to live for 24 years on the basis of his willpower.
The moments of emotion between mother and son in the film are very emotional. The story is set against the backdrop of 2005, in which a mother goes through many stages to fulfill her son’s last wish. Actually Vanky wants that after his death his body organs should be donated to needy persons but the law of our country comes into it. Will Vanky’s mother be able to fulfill her last wish and the difficulties that her mother has to go through, you will have to watch the theaters to know.

Kajol’s acting in the entire film is very emotional. His strong acting can be clearly seen on the screen. He has made the film very beautiful with his presence. On the other hand, this film is incomplete without Vishal. The chemistry between the two is going to be liked by the people.

Revathi has stepped into the world of direction after a long gap of about 14 years in the film world. In this film, he has chosen a very touching subject, which makes people feel an attachment to the characters of the film. There are many scenes in the film in which you will not be able to hold back your tears. The specialty of Revati is that she is able to connect people with her words.
