MumbaiThe comedy show ‘India’s Laughter Champion’ had its finale on August 27. This season’s trophy was won by Rajat Sood of Delhi. Delhi’s Rajat Sood won the trophy of ‘India’s Laughter Champion’ with Rs 25 lakh.
The top 5 finalists reached the ‘Laughter Ke Grand Finale’. These included Nitesh Shetty from Mumbai, Jai Vijay Sachan from Mumbai, Vignesh Pandey from Mumbai, Himanshu Bawandar from Ujjain and Rajat Sood from Delhi.
After defeating all these, where Rajat Sood wore the crown of victory. On the other hand, Nitesh Shetty of Mumbai was the first runner-up and Jai Vijay Sachan and Vignesh Pandey from Mumbai were the second runner-up.
After the victory, Rajat Sood said-When the finale started and my name was announced I was overwhelmed. Within minutes, I had to absorb the fact that I had won. It was the first time in my life that I was performing in front of my parents. My parents are so happy, I could see that pride in their eyes.’
Rajat Sood has undoubtedly been seen doing comedy in the show but he has named his art as ‘Pomedy’ and people liked his style very much.
