New Delhi / Team Digital. The recently released Kannada film Kantara is getting a lot of love from the audience. Actor Rishabh Retty, who acted in the film, is also in limelight. Fans are continuously praising the film, in such a situation now Bollywood star Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s funny reaction has come to the fore.
Why is Nawazuddin jealous of Rishabh?
Kantara fame Rishabh and Nawazuddin attended an event. During this event, Nawazuddin reacted to Rishabh’s work in the film Kantara and said that he is jealous of him. Actually, Nawazuddin was asked in a question whether he is inspired by Rishabh’s work? On this, Nawaz replied- “Of course, if someone does a good job then there is a feeling of jealousy as well as competition….” As soon as he said this, he was asked why he felt jealous?
To this Nawaz said- Of course it happens, because he is doing such a good job…It is not that negative kind of jealousy, but it makes you go on your toes, even me working hard. Have to do
Rishabh Shetty gave this answer
On Nawaz’s reply, Rishabh said- “I have seen many films of Nawaz bhai and have seen his journey full of hard work and effort. He is like us, we are middle class people with no background but we want to get into the industry and make it big. He is a huge inspiration. He comes from theater and has done many small roles (before becoming big). Even we have done such small roles in Kannada cinema before getting our big break. He is our senior, our journey is the same.”
Nawazuddin’s next film
The film Kantara has brought national fame to Rishabh. But he says he wants to continue making films in Kannada and has no plans to move to Bollywood. The film is now streaming on Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada and on Netflix in Hindi. Nawazuddin will soon be seen in Kangana Ranaut’s production Tiku Weds Sheru opposite Avneet Kaur. The film is going to have a digital release on Prime Video.
