Mumbai: On the evening of 23 November, the news of the demise of Bollywood and TV veteran actor Vikram Gokhale came to the fore. This news broke everyone’s heart. Following this, tributes started pouring in on social media. As soon as the news of Vikram Gokhale’s death came out, a statement came out from his family. Said in this statement that Vikram Gokhale is still alive. His daughter Neha Gokhale said- ‘He is still critical and on life support and hasn’t passed away yet. Keep praying for him.
While his wife Vrushali Gokhale said-‘He had slipped into coma yesterday afternoon and since then, he is not responding. He is on ventilator. Doctors will decide tomorrow morning what to do. Everything depends on whether they are improving or still not responding.
Vikram Gokhale’s wife said- ‘He is admitted in Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital since 5th November. He got better a bit but again his health deteriorated a lot. He has faced many problems like heart and kidney. At present, many of his organs have stopped working.
There were reports of Vikram Gokhale being hospitalised. It was being told that his condition was critical and he was hospitalized for about 15 days in a big hospital in Pune.
Vikram Gokhale appeared in the role of Aishwarya’s father in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Apart from this, he also worked in films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Dil Se, Agneepath, De Dana Dan, Hichki, Nikamma, and Mission Mangal. Vikram Gokhale had made a distinct identity in television as well. He was a part of the famous show ‘Udaan’ which ran on Doordarshan from 1989 to 1991. He also acted in 70 Marathi films. He was last seen in the 2022 film Nikamma. Apart from this, he will be seen in the upcoming web series Ambedkar – The Legend.
