Sometime back former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar made headlines for his statement that he wanted to kidnap Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre.

Reports claimed that he had a huge crush on Sonali Bendre and in a talk show, he had clearly stated that he would do anything to propose Sonali and if she refused, he would kidnap her. Will take Shoaib was a big follower of Sonali and was madly in love with her. He fell in love with the actress so much that he used to keep her photo in his purse. Not only this, his fellow players were also aware of his feelings for the actress.

Shoaib had revealed that he had never met Sonali, saying, “I was never a fan of hers. I saw her movies once or twice, but I was never a fan of hers. I have seen her in films and She is a very beautiful woman. I saw her struggle to fall sick. She showed courage and came out of her struggle as a brave woman.”

She had further said, “She fought back and then I became her fan. I loved seeing a woman so brave and courageous. She showed the way for other women. I never connected with her. Suffice it to say that I had a poster of him in my room, wrong. There was only one poster in my room and that was of Imran Khan, the only cricketer I idolized.”
