Mumbai During the trailer review of Nayanthara’s upcoming Tamil film ‘Connect’, actress Janhvi Kapoor took to Instagram to show her excitement for the film. The film is scheduled to release on December 22, 2022. Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan replied to Janhvi’s comment. The wife of the film’s producer plays the role of a mother to a teenage girl. The film also stars Anupam Kher in the role of a priest.
Vignesh shared a new clip from ‘connect’ on Instagram and wrote, “#connect trailer – 22.12.22 in cinemas near you!” He tagged Anupam Kher on the video. He used ‘Nayanthara’ and ‘Sathyaraj’ as hashtags on the post.
Janhvi shared Vignesh’s Connect post on Instagram Stories and wrote, “Can’t wait for this!! @wikkioffical looks great.” Vignesh re-shared Janhvi’s story on Instagram and wrote, “Thank you Janhvi 🙂 Means a lot 🙂 Glad you liked it.”
‘Connect’ is the filmmaker’s second film with Nayanthara. His first film ‘Maya’ was a paranormal thriller. The film is directed by Ashwin Saravanan. Recently, Vignesh and Nayanthara welcomed their twins this year. He had written, “Nayan and I have become Amma and Appa. We have been blessed with twin babies. All our prayers on the social media handle, along with the blessings of our ancestors, all the good deeds, have come together for us as 2 blessed kids.”
The year 2022 has been very good for Janhvi Kapoor so far. He was praised for his performance in the film ‘Good Luck Jerry’. She was last seen in ‘Mili’ which released across the cinema halls last month. He played the lead role in this survival thriller produced by his father Boney Kapoor. It marked their first collaboration. She will next be seen in ‘Bawal’ opposite Varun Dhawan. This film is going to release in 2023. She also has ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ with Rajkumar Rao.
