Recently at the Red Sea International Film Festival, when a person called his film ‘Bell Bottom’ as anti-Pakistan, the actor gave a befitting reply.
At the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, a Pakistani man started asking Akshay about his film ‘Bell Bottom’. The person said to Akshay- ‘I am from Pakistan, from your neighboring country, I have a request. You do great films like Padman and Toilet. There is also an issue between India and Pakistan, in your recent film Bell Bottom there are certain things against Pakistan. To this, Akshay replied- ‘Sir, it is just a film. Don’t be so serious about it. It’s just a movie. There are many such things. It’s just a film, sir.’
Please tell that ‘Bell Bottom’ was released in the year 2021. The 1980s were shown in this film. The film could not do anything special at the box office. It was banned in countries like Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Apart from Akshay, Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta and Vaani Kapoor also played lead roles in ‘Bell Bottom’. Ranjit Tiwari directed the film.
