Mumbai: Singing reality show ‘Superstar Singer 2’ has finally got its winner after three months of great musical competition. Singing reality show ‘Superstar Singer 2’ was the grand finale on Saturday 3rd September. Mani, Pranjal Biswas, Aryanand R Babu, Rituraj and Saisha Gupta along with Mohammad Faiz reached this season’s grand finale. Along with the contestants, their captains also had a test during the finale.
At the same time, 14-year-old Mohammad Faiz won this season’s trophy. Along with the trophy, Mohammad Faiz got Rs 15 lakh. Contestant Mani was declared the runner-up who got the prize money of Rs 5 lakh.
Mohammad Faiz was a student of ‘Indian Idol 12’ contestant Arunita Kanjiwal. Even though Arunita could not win the title of ‘Indian Idol 12’, she fulfilled her dream of winning through her student Mohammad Faiz.
Mohammad Faiz was also given the title of Youth Sensation by ‘Superstar Singer 2’ judge Himesh Reshammiya.
Himesh Reshammiya, Alka Yagnik and Javed Ali were judging ‘Superstar Singer 2’. The show was hosted by Aditya Narayan.
