Speaking about the actor’s commitment for the role, director Samit Kakkar said, “Anna used to report on the spot at 5 am as it takes 4 hours to do her hair and makeup using prosthetics. The character of Thalaivan in the series spans across different age groups and to showcase this progression, we had to make Anna herself old as she is so fit that no one would believe that she is a 63-year-old man without prosthetics. playing the role of.’
Talking about his role, Suniel Shetty said- As I always say, age is just a number. I can only hope and wish to live a healthy lifestyle with the right nutrition and exercise. My character as a Thalaivan is that of a self-made leader who commands the authority and respect of the people of Dharavi, who he considers to be part of his family. He runs an empire worth Rs 30000 crores and his face and posture had to reflect his responsibilities and the experiences he went through to remain elusive and successful. So, I understand why we had to use prosthetics and even though it took 4 hours a day to perfect the look, it added a lot of authenticity to my character as a ruthless Thalaivan.’
