Mumbai Rakhi Sawant’s mother Jaya Sawant passed away on Saturday after being treated for brain tumor and cancer, Rakhi confirmed the news on Instagram. Jaya passed away at a hospital in Mumbai, where she was undergoing treatment. In recent days, Rakhi has been posting pictures and videos of her mother from the hospital and sharing updates related to her health. The last rites will take place on Sunday, Rakhi said in a statement on Instagram. Many celebs like Jackie Shroff, Manyata Dutt, Aly Goni and Rashmi Desai have expressed regret towards Rakhi and her family.
After Jaya’s death, videos of Rakhi Sawant and her family outside the hospital were shared on paparazzi and fan pages. In one of the videos, Rakhi was seen crying profusely as her family members tried to console her. She kept saying, “My mother left me.” Rakhi was also seen asking ‘Where is Adil?’
On Sunday morning, Rakhi shared a video of herself sitting on the floor inside a hospital room with her mother. He wrote in his caption, “Aaj meri maa ka haat sar se uth gaya, Or mere pass khone ke liye kuch nhi bacha, I love you MAA❤️, Aap ke bina kuch nhi raha,ab koun meri pukar sunega or koun mujhe gale lagayega.” maa..Ab Mai kya karu…kaha jauuuu..I miss you Aai❤️.”

On Instagram Stories, Rakhi shared a screenshot of her picture with her late mother and also a WhatsApp note which read, “With deep sadness, I Rakhi Sawant inform you of the sudden death of our dear mother. Many of us know that she was suffering from some medical conditions, however I am sad to say that she is gone. Please attend my mother’s funeral service tomorrow at 12 noon. In the clip, Rakhi had asked fans to pray for her mother. While sharing the video, Rakhi wrote in the caption, ‘Mother is in the hospital. He is not well, pray for him.”
