New Delhi. Prime Video today released the music video of the foot-tapping title track Pseudo Saiyan from its recently launched unscripted Amazon Original Series Cinema Marte Dum Tak. The song is sung by music composer Sneha Khanwalkar and Shailja Mishra. The lyrics of the song are penned by Vayu.
Talking about the song, composer and singer Sneha Khanwalkar said, “Cinema Marte Dum Tak is a tribute to the pulp cinema of the 90s, which was known for its thrill, dialogues and visuals that instantly hooked the audience. Was, and I wanted this song to give exactly the same vibe. I wanted to make sure that this track takes the listener back to the era of Pulp genre films. Vasan Bala’s vision and Shailaja’s vocals bring life to the composition and I am sure it will connect with the listeners and make them dance their feet every time they hear it.
Lyricist Vayu said, “I was excited when I was asked to write the lyrics for Pseudo Saiyan. We wanted to create something catchy and addictive, highlighting the essence and elements of Pulp Cinema. Sneha Khanwalkar did a great job with the upbeat music that brings life to the words, and I can’t wait to see the audience’s reaction to the song. I’m sure listeners will find the song very catchy.”
The show’s producer Vasan Bala says, “Sneha Khanwalkar has composed Pseudo Saiyan. I can’t wait for the audience to experience this song personally, as I think it’s a great track that Sneha has sung. I have wanted to collaborate with Sneha for a long time. We have worked together in the past as well, and now we are back to work together after 8-10 years.”
A Vice Studio production and created by prolific filmmaker, Vasan Bala, this six-episode reality docu-series follows four talented filmmakers who rose to fame in the 90s. The docu-series is streaming on Prime Video in 240 countries and territories.
