Mumbai Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul recently unveiled pictures from their haldi function and it looks nothing less than a fairy tale. The couple got married at Sunil Shetty’s Khandala bungalow and decorated Khandala like a paradise with marigold flowers for the pre-wedding function. Photos of their turmeric function have surfaced online, which is very beautiful.
The decor for Athiya and Rahul’s haldi function had lush green trees adorned with bright yellow marigold flowers. Decor agency, Rani Pink posted photos from the beautiful location.
Two bright marigold sofas were also placed for the bride and groom. Sharing the photo, it was written in the post, “When I met Athiya, I knew instinctively that this wedding was going to be special. Our aesthetics matched perfectly, there was balance, honesty and trust. We knew how to feed off each other to create and build. Every layer of the decor was detailed and I can’t tell you how much FUN we had. The storyline for each day was different yet the foundation of our design stayed intact.
Haldi was a blooming marigold garden with layers from floor to ceiling. We explained every little corner in detail. It was intimate and beautiful. The sun was shining, marigolds were dancing and two families were expressing love! Athiya and Rahul I miss you both but I miss the Grumps the most 💛 @athiyashetty @klrahul!”
KL Rahul and Athiya got married on Tuesday at Sunil’s farmhouse. Only family members and close friends attended their wedding. Suniel Shetty revealed that the couple’s wedding reception will take place in Mumbai after the IPL season.
