Vijay was hospitalized in Kolkata for the last 15 days due to shortness of breath, where he died on Friday evening.
Vijay Kumar has said goodbye to the world at the age of 93. He breathed his last during treatment in the hospital itself.
According to media reports, after treatment that lasted for about 15 days, Vijay Kumar breathed his last in the hospital at around 6.30 pm on Friday evening.
Vijay Kumar Kitchlu was a great singer of classical music. He was honored with the Padma Shri Award by the Government of India. Along with this, the veteran was also awarded the Sangeet Natya Academy.
