Mumbai: Film critic and actor Kamal R Khan (KRK) was arrested a few days back in the objectionable remark case. He was not relieved yet in this case that now he was caught in another case. KRK, who is already under arrest, was arrested by Mumbai’s Versova Police in a molestation case. On Sunday 4 September, Kamal Khan was arrested in an old molestation case.
The Versova Police arrested him after the transfer order of the 24th MM Court in Borivali, Mumbai. has been sent into custody.
Mumbai Police said that in June 2021, a case was registered against Kamal Khan under Section 354 (a) of the Indian Penal Code and IPC 509. He is alleged to have held hands with the complainant in the first week of January 2019 and demanded sexual favors from him.
Kamal Rashid Khan was arrested on Tuesday last week by the Malad Police of Mumbai from the Mumbai International Airport. According to the information, KRK was arrested by the police from the airport only after his arrival from Dubai. He was produced before a magistrate’s court in Borivali. During this, the court sent KRK to 14 days judicial custody, rejecting the police’s request to be remanded in police custody.
Significantly, in the year 2020, KRK made objectionable remarks on two late Bollywood actors Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor. He has been arrested in the same case.
