New Delhi. A new poster of Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ has surfaced. Rob Marshall is directing this film. The film has been creating a lot of buzz even before its release. The film is a live action reimagining of Disney Star Studios’ Oscar-winning animated musical classic movie.
The remake of ‘The Little Mermaid’ is written by Jane Goldman and David Magee. It will also play the title soundtrack along with four new songs composed by Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda. There are many big stars in the film, who have given their voices to the characters. which stars actress Halle Bailey (“Grown-ish”) as Ariel. Tony Award winner Daveed Diggs (“Hamilton,” “Snowpiercer”) returns as the voice of Sebastian. Jacob Tremblay (“Luca,” “Room”) as the voice of Flounder, Awkwafina (“Raya and the Last Dragon”) as the voice of Scuttle, Jonah Hauer-King (“A Dog’s Way Home”) as Prince Eric are in form. Art Malik (“Homeland”) as Sir Grimsby. Noma Dumezweni (“Mary Poppins Returns”) as Queen Selina, with Oscar winner Javier Bardem (“No Country for Old Men,” “Being the Ricardos”) as King Triton; and two-time Academy Award nominee Melissa McCarthy (“Can You Ever Forgive Me?” “Bridesmaids”) as Ursula.
