Mumbai Kangana Ranaut has come out in support of Nawazuddin Siddiqui after he issued a statement breaking his silence on his ex-wife Aaliya Siddiqui’s allegations. Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Kangana wrote, “Much needed @Nawazuddin._Siddiqui saab (sir)…silence always gives us peace…I’m glad you issued this statement.”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared a note on Instagram on Monday. His statement read, “Because of my silence, I am called a bad man everywhere. I am silent because somewhere my little kids must be reading this entire drama. Social media platforms, press and many people are actually I am enjoying my character assassination based on one sided and manipulated video. There are few points which I would like to express – 1. First of all me and Alia are not living together since many years, we are already divorced But we definitely only had to be together for our kids.”
A part of her statement also read, “She only wants more money and hence has filed several cases on me and my mother and this is her routine, she has done the same in the past and paid as per her demands.” She withdraws the case when she leaves.”
This is not the first time Kangana has come out in support of Nawazuddin. Last month, Alia had posted a recent video of her verbal spat with her ex-husband as they stood outside the gate of the house.
Even at that time, Kangana had written, “It is so sad to see all this… Nawaz Saab is being insulted like this outside his house…unholy he has given everything to the family, for many years on rent.” This bungalow used to come for TWS shoot in rickshaw last year? Sad to see all this… He used to take rickshaw for TWS shoots. He bought this bungalow last year and now his ex-wife is claiming it. Have come to do it.. It is very sad. He also wrote, “I never met the ex-wife but now suddenly she has occupied the bungalow and is not allowing her to enter, I saw her standing on the road and she is making videos of such a big star , Kya badmashi hi, rone ka manta hai… It is not easy to earn money from acting work, actors work very hard, how can she decide that she should be kept inside the house and locked outside.’
