Veteran producer-director Rakesh Kumar has passed away. He breathed his last in Mumbai on 10 November. It is being told that Rakesh was battling cancer for a long time.
Rakesh Kumar passed away on Friday. He said goodbye to this world in 81 years. His family has organized a prayer meet in his memory on Sunday (13 November) from 4 pm to 5 pm. The Prayer Meet will be organized in Andheri, Mumbai. Rakesh Kumar’s family shared a note which reads,

Rakesh Kumar has given many memorable films to Hindi cinema. Along with acting in films, he also produced and directed them. This list includes big films like Khoon Sweat, Mr. Natwarlal, Do Aur Do Paanch, Johnny I Love You, Kaun Jeeta Kaun Hara, Yaarana, Dil Tujhko Diya, Commander and Amitabh Bachchan’s Sooryavanshi. He also worked with Amitabh Bachchan in many films.
