Bollywood tadka team. Actor Sunil Shetty and Anurag Kashyap starrer film ‘File No. 323’ seems to be embroiled in controversies. The film is based on the lives of Indian fugitives like Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi. However, businessman Mehul Choksi has already created a controversy regarding this film. They issued a ‘cease and desist’ notice to the producers and director of the film. Actor Sunil Shetty has now given his reaction on this action of Mehul.
Sunil Shetty while talking to media said that he is happy that legal notice has been issued for his film. The fact that someone has sent us a legal notice saying they are doing reputation damage and trying to defame them is ridiculous.
He further said, I liked the answer my producer gave – you are the one who has spoiled your name. Why are you asking us to clarify? What was in the public domain was useful to us, and it is an interesting story for a film for us.
Sunil said, “We are very clear about the fact that you have looted us and we are only stating the facts which are in the public domain and making a film on the same. So yes, whatever you did Why are we being accused for that. It was funny that we got that notice. We will start shooting from 21st and then the film will be on a massive scale.”
The actor said, “The question was being asked that what was the previous government doing? Why was he allowed to take such money from the bank. What did he do with the money? where is he What happened to the thousands of people who worked with him? what happened to them? What happened to his life? Our film will revolve around these questions. I found it very, very interesting. It works brilliantly.”
At the same time, the makers also say that they will soon give a legal reply to this notice. Also, he has claimed that this film is not anyone’s biopic. He said that he is going to tell the story about those people who are involved in economic crimes against common people in India. Along with this, he also said that he is making the film only on the information available in the public domain.
According to reports, the shooting of the film ‘File No. 323’ will begin in Mumbai from 20 November. Apart from this, the film will be shot in various European countries including the UK. There is a plan to release the film in the next year i.e. 2023.
