Mumbai Actress Kareena Kapoor has shared a post in praise of Lionel Messi. Kareena shared a childhood picture of Lionel Messi on Instagram and called him the ‘GOAT’. Several Bollywood celebrities took to their social media to express their joy and excitement after Argentina’s victory, with many praising Kylian Mbappe’s performance in the match.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Kareena shared a childhood picture of Messi posted by former English footballer David Beckham and wrote, “GOAT.” In the picture, Messi is seen sitting on the football field. He is wearing an orange T-shirt with white shorts. Kareena also shared a post by People magazine. In the pictures, Messi is celebrating the victory on the field by hugging his sons. Kareena posted a sticker that read, “Love this.”
After Messi’s team won the FIFA World Cup final, celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Sushmita Sen, Abhishek Bachchan among many others congratulated Argentina and praised the great Messi. Abhishek wrote, “What a great and well deserved World Cup final. Congratulations Argentina! #FIFAWorldCup #ArgentinavsFrance.” Ranveer, who watched the final in Qatar with Deepika Padukone, tweeted: “What have I just seen?!?! Historic. Iconic. Pure magic. Kareena was last seen in Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Aamir Khan, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya.
