Mumbai: Bollywood veteran actor Anupam Kher has worked in more than 500 films in his career. Released this year, ‘The Kashmir Files’ was a super hit and was highly praised. After ‘The Kashmir Files’, he is now enjoying the success of ‘Karthikeya 2’, although still Anupam Kher says that he has stopped getting work from Bollywood’s big filmmakers Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra and Sajid Nadiadwala.

Famous Anupam Kher said for his impetuosity– ‘Today I am not a part of the mainstream cinema of India. I am not doing any film of Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala or Aditya Chopra because these people are not even offering me roles.
Anupam Kher further said- ‘Once upon a time I used to be a favorite of all these people. I have worked in everyone’s films. I don’t blame him for not casting me now but when he didn’t cast me, I started doing Tamil and Telugu films. Apart from this, I am also working in Sooraj Barjatya’s film ‘Uchhai’.
Otherwise I would have sat idle. Those who were my friends and close friends at one time do not take them in films, so what should I do now. I feel hurt, I used to work in all his films.
On the work front, Anupam Kher is also going to be seen in Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ apart from ‘Alachai’. In the film, Kangana is playing the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. On the other hand, Anupam Kher will be seen in the role of Jayaprakash Narayan. Apart from these films, he will be seen in ‘Shiv Shastri Balbo’ with Neena Gupta.
