After the world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and the Asian premiere at the Busan International Film Festival, Applause Entertainment and Nandita Das’ Zwigato is all set to premiere in India at the 27th International Film Festival of Kerala. The film has been selected as the opening film in the Kaleidoscope section of the festival. Whose screening will be on 10 and 13 December 2022.
Kapil Sharma will be seen as a delivery food rider in the film written and directed by Nandita Das. Actress Shahana Goswami will be seen opposite Kapil Sharma in the film, playing the role of his wife, who is a home maker and starts working for the first time to support her income. Set in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, the film narrates the story of the relentless struggle of an ordinary family in the aftermath of the pandemic, interspersed with happy moments. This film will tell that no matter how bitter or sweet life is, it should be lived happily. The film ‘Zvigato’ is an Applause Entertainment presentation and directed by Nandita Das.
