Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Suresh Wadkar have once again joined the list of Goodwill Ambassadors of All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALT EFF).

Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff, Mrunmayee Deshpande and Suresh Wadkar have joined the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALT EFF) as Goodwill Ambassadors for the second consecutive year. All three are known for their constant support and their initiatives towards the protection of the environment and climate change.

Actor Jackie Shroff says, “There are two things I am really passionate about: films and the environment and this festival combines both. I suggest people watch the films that are going to be screened, which are based on the environment and give you Guess climate change is real. I was a part of it last year as well and it was a huge success and I hope people show the same love for this edition.

Actress Mrinmoyee Deshpande says, “The festival is going to have an interesting selection of films like Shaunak Sen’s All That Breathes which has won several awards across the globe. Into Dust, directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Orlando Van Einsiedel, is another such film. There will be a panel discussion by a talented group of directors and it’s going to be fun.”

ALT EFF has been one of the only film festivals in India focused on sustainability and the environment. This year it is starting from 17-27 November and around 55 films are planned to be screened at the festival. Started in a virtual format in 2020, this year the festival will be held in a hybrid format, with virtual as well as physical screenings. Lioness and Newton director Amit V Masurkar has also been a part of the jury.
