Mumbai: The suicide case of late Bollywood actress Jiah Khan is one of the most talked about cases. In the year 2013, Jiah Khan was found hanging from the noose at her house. Describing it as a murder, the family made serious allegations against Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj Pancholi. For the last 9 years, Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia Khan has been demanding justice for her daughter. On Thursday, Jiah’s mother Rabia Khan shouted before a special court that Jiah Khan had been murdered. So far the police and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have not found any evidence to prove that his daughter had committed suicide.
At the same time, a new update has come out in this matter. It is updated that there will be cross examination of Rabia Khan on Monday. Sooraj Pancholi’s lawyer Prashant Patil, who is in the case, said that cross examination is the right of his client. He has full faith in the court and the judicial system of the country. He will not be able to say much in this matter until the court gives its verdict.

Jiya’s mother told the whole matter in court
Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia Khan recorded her statement in the case before Special Judge AS Sayyed. Regarding the incident related to the death of Jiah Khan, her mother told the court that on June 3, 2013, as soon as she opened the door of Jia’s bedroom, she found him hanging there.
Rabia Khan said- ‘He called actress Anju Mahendru and told that Jiya is hanging from the noose. Mahendru reached the spot with Moin Baig in 10 minutes. On his arrival, the knot of the dupatta was untied from Jiya’s neck and laid her on the bed, Beg ran to the doctor. The doctor examined him and declared him brought dead.
After some time the police reached the spot. An officer inspected the spot where Jia was lying. Rabia Khan told the court that the police took away all her belongings including her phone. Rabia said that we saw that there were a lot of messages and missed calls on the screen and all of them belonged to Sooraj. We read the messages and they were all furious. There was abusive language in them.
After this Sooraj Pancholi’s father actor Aditya Pancholi came home. As soon as he (Aditya Pancholi) entered my house he fell at my feet and said that his son has ruined his life and career.
He said that the police called his other daughter to the police station to unlock Jiya’s phone. According to Rabia – when she went to the police station, Jia’s phone was already unlocked and many pictures and messages were deleted. It looked as if someone had tampered with the phone… that’s when I lost my faith in the Juhu police (who had initially investigated the matter).
He alleged-Within two hours of my daughter’s death, they declared it a suicide. I suspect that his body was taken from Cooper Hospital to JJ Hospital with malicious intent. Rabia reiterated that when a woman policeman came to her house to record her statement, she said that it was not a case of suicide but of murder as her daughter had injury marks on her body.
Jiah Khan allegedly committed suicide at her residence in June 2013. Actor Sooraj Pancholi was booked for abetment to suicide. It was investigated by the police and the CBI. Presently he is out on bail.
