Hansal Mehta’s upcoming film ‘Faraaz’ which is all set to release on 3rd February has become the talk of the town ever since its power-packed trailer dropped on social media. The film’s unabashed take on bigotry through its protagonist Faraz, who stood up against a bunch of terrorists who took people captive.
First song of ‘Faraj’ released
Earlier today, the makers released the first track from the film, “Musafir Ko” and it is a light hearted tune with lyrics that will tug at your heartstrings. Sharing it on social media, the makers captioned the song as “Musafir ko ghar hi jaana hai.
This song by Sameer Rahat fills the cold night with gusts of warm, gentle breeze Proud to present this song by #Faraz. The film is releasing in your nearest cinema hall on 3rd February. Composed and co-composed by Sameer Rahat with vocals by Vidya Gopal and lyrics penned by Rahat, the song perfectly captures the theme of the film and speaks about a wider reality that is beyond the materialistic.
While the film is a week away from release, going by the reviews coming in from those who watched the special screening of the film, Faraaz seems to be on its way to victory. The breathtaking visuals heighten the feeling of claustrophobia, making you feel like you are witnessing the crisis up close and not just a bystander. Others including Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan all praised the film, especially the acting, and got emotional after watching the film.
Faraz is directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Anubhav Sinha, Sakshi Bhatt, Sahil Sehgal and Mazahir Mandsaurwala. The film is jointly produced by T-Series and Banaras Mediaworks in association with Mahana Films. The film stars Jehan Kapoor, Aditya Rawal, Juhi Babbar, Aamir Ali, Sachin Lalwani, Palak Lalwani and Resham Sahani and is slated to release on February 3, 2023.
