Mumbai: ‘Dangal Girl’ i.e. actress Fatima Sana Shaikh is currently battling Epilepsy. This was disclosed by the actress herself. Fatima recently told that she keeps getting attacks of ‘epilepsy’. Actually, the month of November is celebrated as Epilepsy Awareness Campaign Month.
Highlighting this, Fatima revealed her illness through social media. The actress talked about her illness by sharing a post on Instagram. Not only this, to increase its awareness among the people, he also did a question and answer session with the fans about epilepsy on Instagram. He did a session ‘Ask Me Any Things’ with his followers to spread awareness about epilepsy.
During the question and answer, a user asked her how she is dealing with this disease? On this the actress said-They have a great support system! His family, friends and his stomach. Some days are good but some are bad too.
And when a user asked Fatima when she came to know about this disease (epilepsy). On this Fatima said-When she was shooting for the film ‘Dangal’, she had an attack and she fainted. After that she got up straight in the hospital. Then he had an epileptic attack for the first time. Fatima says that at first she was very scared about this disease. Then slowly he overcame it. Fatima said that she kept ignoring this disease for five years but she advises that other patients should not do it, treatment is possible only by accepting the disease at the right time.
Fatima was asked how has epilepsy affected her professionally? In response Fatima says- ‘I have to go a little slow but I can do everything. There are some weird and difficult days that slow me down but I am fortunate to be able to work with the people I wanted to work with. It has not dampened my passion and never stopped me from giving my best. In fact it has pushed me to work harder. Fatima told that her dog Bijli is like therapy for her.
A user asked why Epilepsy patients are forced to smell smelly shoes. Justifying this thing, the Dangal girl said- This is a myth. Please don’t do that. Getting out of it is so awful anyway. The last thing you want is to smell a stinky shoe. Hahaha. People did this to me. It was horrifying. (vomiting emoji).
