Mumbai Actress Shubhangi Atre, who plays Angoori Bhabhi in ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’, has parted ways with her husband Piyush Pure. Both have been living separately for almost a year. Shubhangi married Piyush in 2003 in her hometown Indore. The couple also has an 18-year-old daughter.
Confirming this news, Shubhangi Atre said- ‘It has been almost a year since we are not living together. Piyush and I tried our best to save our marriage. Mutual respect, trust and friendship are the foundation of a strong marriage.
Shubhangi Atre further said- ‘We realized that we cannot resolve our differences. So decided to give each other space, focus on our personal life and career. It’s still difficult. My family is my top priority and we all want our families around, but some damages are beyond repair. When a relationship of many years breaks, it affects you mentally and emotionally. But we had to take this step and I agree with it. Mental stability is paramount. I have always believed that adversities teach you a lesson.
Apart from this, Shubhangi Atre said- ‘She deserves love from both mother and father. Piyush comes to meet her on Sundays. I do not want him to be deprived of his father’s love.
