Mumbai Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul tied the knot on Monday at Sunil Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse. The newly wed couple announced their wedding on Instagram. Athiya wore a full sleeve pink blouse and lehenga for the wedding. Also wore heavy jewellery. Rahul was also looking good in cream colored sherwani.
There was hardly any glimpse of this tight security marriage, but on Sunday, Sunil had promised paparazzi to click photos with the newly wed couple after the wedding. He told the paparazzi last Sunday, “I will bring the kids tomorrow. Thank you very much for the love you showed.”
Ajay Devgan, who starred opposite Sunil Shetty in the 1994 film Dilwale, was the first to wish her on her daughter’s wedding. Pre-wedding celebrations can be seen at Sunil’s Khandala farmhouse on Sunday. The whole house was lit up and many guests were seen dressed in traditional clothes and dancing to the music.
Sunil had long denied a wedding date, nor had the couple announced their tying the knot, but the news was confirmed only when KL Rahul took a long break from the cricket schedule during the wedding season. Took it.
