Dedicated century to wife and daughter
On Thursday, Virat Kohli scored a century while playing an unbeaten innings against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup. He scored a century in international cricket after 33 months. After this century, Virat Kohli happily kissed the ring first.
After scoring a century, Virat said- ‘And I kissed my ring. You see me standing here because a person has put things aside for me. She is Anushka. This century is for him and also for our younger daughter Vamika.
When you have someone next to you who is talking keeping things side by side, like Anushka… When I came back I wasn’t dejected. Six weeks off I was fresh. I realized how tired I was. Competition doesn’t allow it, but this break allowed me to enjoy the game again.
On the work front, Anushka is currently shooting for her upcoming film Jhulan Goswami’s biopic. With this film, she will return to the screen after a long time. Anushka was last seen in the film Zero in the year 2018.
