New Delhi / Team Digital. 2023 hasn’t even started yet and Ali Fazal’s schedule already seems packed. Ali will begin January 2023 with the shooting of Anurag Basu’s ‘Life in a Metro 2’, which is now titled ‘Metro..In Dino’. The film is an anthology consisting of four love filled and heart touching stories. Needless to say, Ali will be playing one of the lead characters in one of these stories.
Says one of the sources, “Anurag had been planning to make the sequel for a long time, but he got the idea during the lockdown before the pandemic. He began working on the script as well as began his search for casting. This film will be a 4 part film connecting to each other at one stage. Anurag Da has done a remarkable job in Ludo by bringing together 4 different stories at a certain point. Life In A Metro 2 will have a similar flavor but will be shot in a different style.
The first part of Life in a Metro was released in 2007. It featured an ensemble cast of Dharmendra, Nafisa Ali, Shilpa Shetty, Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja, Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kangana Ranaut and Sharman Joshi in lead roles. And now in its second part the names of Ali Fazal, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur have come to the fore.
