Vijay Verma said-This can scare you. Water is going above head I think what you said 10 years ago could have been objectionable and some people reacted to it. This may have been a popular practice at the time, but it is no more in today’s times. I think you cannot be canceled like this.’

Continuing his point, the actor further said- ‘For example I go to a house in Rajasthan and there I see leopard and tiger skin. When that house is built, it will probably be a normal thing to display the skin of dead animals… Now we understand how dangerous and cruel it is to wildlife and animals. But the people of that time a family whose four generations saw animal skin on the wall and did not educate themselves. Can we cancel them?’

Vijay further said- ‘If he had not educated himself and had not kept pace with the present times, would we have been so bad with him and canceled him in an uncivilized manner. These are thoughts that I keep thinking about. I really don’t have an answer. I think it is very important to capture education and time. But times and trends are changing very fast. A comedian who would have said something 10 years ago, can those lines come back this time.’

Talking about the upcoming film, Vijay will be seen in the adaptation of Sujoy Ghosh’s Devotion of Suspect X. It also stars Kareena Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat. Apart from this, Vijay has also started shooting for the third season of ‘Mirzapur’.
