Police say that the accused carried out the incident under the influence of alcohol. According to the police, the accused also made a video of the incident and used it to blackmail the victim. He raped her again by threatening to leak this video.
According to the information received, the model had gone to a bar in Kochi last night with a friend. Late at night she collapsed at the bar. Seeing this, the accused youth offered help. Then asked him to take him home and made him sit in his car.

After carrying out the incident, the accused dropped him in front of his house in Kakkanad. The incident came to light when the victim gave this information to a friend. The matter was reported on Friday. After receiving the complaint, the police went to the bar where the accused had made the victim sit in their car.
The model is currently admitted to the Kalamassery Medical College for treatment. Health, Women and Child Development Minister Veena George also gave a statement in this matter. He said- A shocking incident of gang rape has come to light in Kochi. The 19-year-old model has been gang-raped. This incident is strongly condemned. Strictest action will be taken against the culprits.
