Mumbai Famous comedian and actor Raju Srivastava suffered a cardiac arrest on August 10 during a workout in the gym, after which he was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi. Raju Srivastava remained in a coma for about 43 days in AIIMS, Delhi and died on 21 September 2022. With the death of the comedian, even his dreams which he once had for family and career remained unfulfilled. But now Raju Srivastava’s wife Shikha Srivastava has decided to fulfill those dreams.
Shikha Srivastava said- ‘My life has completely changed. I might never be able to express it. His body is gone, but my life is gone. More than half of my life was spent with him. I knew him since childhood. My cousin sister got married to his elder brother. We met in marriage only and since then we got connected.
Shikha Srivastava further said- ‘When she came to Mumbai from Lucknow after marrying Raju Srivastava, there were many questions in her mind. She was settling down after marrying a man whose job timings are not regular. When Raju Srivastava used to manage the work, she used to manage the house. His full attention was always on Raju and the children. Along with success, she stood as a shield with Raju Srivastava in every ups and downs. After Raju ji’s departure, she could not understand how she would handle herself. But perhaps bad times only test how strong you are.
Apart from this, Shikha Srivastava said- ‘Raju ji always used to ask him to handle the office. But she kept postponing because she was not interested in it then. But now Raju must be watching them, so he must be happy that Shikha will take care of everything. They still feel like having a bad dream and it just breaks down. You don’t have the courage. But if you want to work, you are getting the courage. Whatever Raju ji has left unfinished, now he has to complete it all. Along with settling the children, their work also has to be handled.
