Mumbai: Bollywood actors Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty starrer film ‘The Kashmir Files’ is among the highest grossing films of the year 2022. ‘The Kashmir Files’, which is called the underdog of the Hindi film industry, gave dust to big budget films. This film got a lot of love from the people. Recently, Anupam Kher expressed his anger over not getting the award for the film.
He said that the function in which ‘The Kashmir Files’ did not get the award is Ford. Actually, during an interview, when Anupam Kher was asked whether he expects his film ‘The Kashmir Files’ to get awards. On this Anupam Kher said- The function in which I didn’t get an award for The Kashmir Files would be a fraud. How can you not award Best Direction, Best Actor to ‘The Kashmir Files’.
Continuing his talk, the actor laughed and said-I am not saying this out of pride, but I believe that The Kashmir Files should get every award. If it doesn’t, it means you are not real.
During this, he also spoke on Anurag Kashyap’s recent statement. Anupam Kher said-Who is he, who is Anurag Kashyap? He sarcastically said that this is what the media wants to hear but I would like to say that I have a lot of respect for Anurag Kashyap as a filmmaker. He is a very good director. Although we want some of his certificate, he is distributing some certificate that it is good and it is not a good film. We have been appreciated by the public and we are very lucky for that.
