According to media reports, on Monday, the Income Tax Department raided Maithri, the producer of Pushpa film, in which IT officials raided several locations of the company. Actually IT officials suspect that foreign funding is being done in the company, for which Maithri was raided.

Raids were conducted at various places including the houses of Yalamanchili Ravishankar, Cherukuri Mohan and Naveen Arnen, owners of Mythri Company, as the company has recently signed some big projects for which huge amount has been paid. Let us tell you that this company has given many blockbuster films like Pushpa, which earned records worldwide.

Suspicion of foreign funding
Around 15 locations of the owners of the company were raided since morning, this process continued till evening. If media reports are to be believed, Income Tax officials from several states reached Hyderabad and started investigation in the company’s office. The officers suspected that foreign funding was being done in Maithri Company. However, so far no official statement has come from the Income Tax Department regarding this.

Blockbuster Pushpa The Rise
Pushpa The Rise, one of the blockbuster films this year, was produced under the banner of this company. The film was released on 17 December 2021. Based on sandalwood smuggling, the film was primarily made in Telugu, which was also dubbed in Hindi. The craze of this film was such that the dialogues of the film could be heard everywhere. The film had Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles which was well received by the people.
