Mumbai: Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput may be one of the most adorable, romantic couples in B-Town today. But when Shahid announced his marriage to Mira Rajput, it took some time for his fans to accept that Mira belongs to a non-film family. Not only this, both had to face a lot of trolling because of the age gap. There is a gap of 14 years between Shahid and Mira.
Now recently Shahid spoke openly with Meera on the age gap. Actually, Shahid along with his co-star Kiara Advani had reached the eighth episode of Koffee With Karan Season 7. where he talked about it.
Talking about their relationship, Shahid said-He was 34 when they tied the knot, and Meera was 20. He had to look at the relationship differently. According to Shahid, Meera left Delhi and came to Mumbai with him at such a young age. He took care of Meera like a child. I wanted to protect Meera. ,
he adds-‘Sometimes I felt like I knew a lot and felt like I could tell her what to do and how to be. Shahid further revealed that he did this because he wanted to protect her as he himself was at that place. He also pointed out that the film industry can be very intimidating and decision-making.
While praising Meera, Shahid said-Mira brings a lot to my life. She balances me. She makes me feel normal. We have two cute babies in our lives. So this is our happy family.
On the work front, Shahid is all set to make his OTT debut with Fergie. Along with Shahid, Vijay Sethupathi and Rashi Khanna will also be seen in the series.
