Not only this, she has also separated from her husband. She has become a sanyasi by wearing saffron clothes, applying sandalwood on her forehead, hanging a rosary of Rudraksha around her neck. The actress says that she has left home and gone to the Himalayas as a Jogan. Now why did he do this, let us tell.
Talking to a media portal, the actress said-I retired in February. I was busy visiting religious places and helping the needy. I have always had a spiritual inclination. I have always followed it as well, so I have devoted myself completely to it now. Thank you for your time with the Cine and TV Artists Association. I worked there as a committee member.
Nupur, who has become a sannyasin, has gone on a journey from Mumbai to the Himalayas. This is really a big step. My spiritual journey will flourish by staying in the Himalayas. To meet my basic needs, I have given a house in Mumbai on rent.
TV actress Nupur married actor Alankar Srivastava in 2002. When he told about his desire to become a sanyasi in his in-laws’ house, he got his support. Nupur came to meet her husband and mother-in-law before leaving for the Himalayas. Nupur says that she has always tried to be a good daughter-in-law.
Nupur further said- “I don’t know why people think that I am emotionally broken that’s why I made this decision even though I don’t need any excuse to go down this path. ,

After the death of my mother in December 2020, I realized that I am no longer afraid of losing anything. I felt free from all expectations and responsibilities.
The actress further said-I sleep on the ground and eat at the same time. I eat a raw papaya and apple a day. I have 4 pairs of clothes and one pair of slippers. I am no longer worried about my expenses. I have left everything to God.’
Nupur has worked in 157 TV shows. These include ‘Shaktimaan’, ‘Lakshmi daughters of the house’ and ‘Tantra’. Apart from TV serials, she has also been a part of films like ‘Raja Ji’, ‘Saawariya’ and ‘Sonali Cable’.
