Sherlyn Chopra tweeted from her Twitter handle and wrote-‘Amboli Police arrested Rakhi Sawant in connection with FIR 883/2022. Rakhi Sawant’s ABA 1870/2022 was dismissed by the Mumbai Sessions Court yesterday.
Police has taken this action against Rakhi Sawant after Sherlyn Chopra’s complaint.
In the case, Mumbai Police has said that on the complaint of Sherlyn Chopra, an FIR has been registered against Rakhi Sawant under various sections of IPC and IT Act. The complainant alleges that he showed an objectionable video of Chopra during a press conference and used objectionable language. Last year, Rakhi told the police that Sherlyn Chopra uploaded a video on YouTube and Instagram on 6 November 2022, in which she made objectionable remarks against him and used indecent language.
