Mumbai: Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi was recently summoned by the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police in a money laundering case of Rs 200 crore. Like actress Jacqueline Fernandez, she was also questioned sitting in front of Pinky Irani. EOW inquired for 6 hours on Thursday. At the same time, the name of Nora’s brother-in-law has also surfaced in this case. In such a situation, Nora’s brother-in-law Mehboob alias Bobby Khan has also been questioned, in which it has been found that Bobby Khan had received a BMW gift of 65 lakhs from Sukesh.
In her statement to the police, Nora Fatehi told that she had attended a charity event of Leena Maria, wife of Sukesh Chandrashekhar, after which Sukesh talked about giving a BMW car to Nora Fatehi.
He already had a car and hence he had refused it but now investigation has revealed that Sukesh gifted a BMW car worth about 65 lakhs to Nora Fatehi’s brother-in-law Bobby.
When Sukesh Chandrashekhar talked about giving BMW to Nora Fatehi. After this, a person named Actress Paas Shekhar had reached for the deal, to whom Nora gave her brother-in-law Bobby’s number and told her that she did not need a BMW, so Bobby was offered the car. According to the information, the car has been found registered in the name of Bobby.
During interrogation, Nora Fatehi says that she never met Pinky Irani or Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Earlier, he had also told that he had no idea about Sukesh’s criminal tendencies. When Nora suspected that something was wrong, she distanced herself.
This was EOW’s fifth questioning of Nora. The EOW team may also interrogate four other actresses – Nikita Tamboli, Chahat Khanna, Sofia Singh and Arusha Patil. All of them had met Sukesh in Tihar Jail.
