A year after its Telugu release, Pen Studios producers Dr. Jayantilal Gada and Sajid Qureshi now bring to the audiences the Hindi version of the action drama film written and directed by Boyapati Srinu.
Hindi version of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Akhand’ to be released
A true fest for hard core Balayya fans that weaves a historical tale with collective moments, ‘Akhand’ is a high-voltage mass entertainer that has opened to rave reviews. People enjoyed the film with thunderous whistles and applause. The film earned 120.8 crores at the box office.
Nandamuri Balakrishna is seen in a double role in ‘Akhand’. Starring Pragya Jaiswal, Jagapathi Babu and Srikanth, the film became the second highest-grossing Telugu film of 2021 and the highest-grossing film of Balakrishna’s career. This was the third collaboration between Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu. The film also premiered on OTT last year, and went on to become one of the most watched regional films.
After much wait, the Hindi-market audiences will now get to witness the high voltage entertainer film once again in the form of ‘Akhand (Hindi)’ on the theater screens on 20th January 2023. On this occasion, Dr. Jayantilal Gada says, “If the past year has taught us anything, it is that the audience is craving for a massively entertaining and visual spectacle film that deserves to be seen in theatres. We are confident that ‘ ‘Akhand’ is one film that will find takers in different language markets and considering the fan following of Nandamuri Balakrishna and the high-octane action and entertainment that the film provides, it is fair to say that the film has a pan-India appeal.
Presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios) and produced by Sajid Qureshi, ‘Akhand (Hindi)’ features Nandamuri Balakrishna. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film will hit the theaters on January 20, 2023.
