The sudden demise of the producer has come as a big shock to the stars and fans of the film industry. Stars have paid tribute to Muralidhar through social media.
If reports are to be believed, Muraleedharan passed away in his hometown Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu.
Paying tribute to him, South Superstar Kamal Haasan wrote in a tweet – “K Muraleedharan, producer of Lakshmi Movie Makers who made many hit films, is no more. Dear Shiva, I remember those days. Tribute to him.
Many other stars have also expressed grief over his death through social media.
Let me tell you, Muraleedharan is also known for making careers of many big stars of South Cinema. He had made a big and different identity in South Cinema through his films. He was also the ex-president of the Tamil Producers Council. He started his own production house ‘Laxmi Movie Makers’ in association with V Swaminathan and G Venugopal. With Kamal Haasan, he gave blockbuster films like ‘Ambe Shivam’. Apart from this, he also acted in films like Gokul Thill Seethai, Unnai Thedi, Pudhupettai.
