After the success of ‘Fakt Mahilao Mate’, Anand Pandit-Vaishal Shah announce another film

Seasoned producers Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah have announced their next Gujarati project ‘Tron Ekka’ after the stupendous success of the family entertainer ‘Fakt Mahilao Maate’.

Seasoned producers Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah have announced their next Gujarati project ‘Tron Ekka’ after the stupendous success of the family entertainer ‘Fakt Mahilao Maate’. The Muhurta of the film was held on 13 February. The story narrates the complexities of the lives of three friends who are caught in a financial crunch and hatch an ill-advised plan to convert a middle-class home into a clandestine gambling den. ‘Tron Ekka’ is directed by Rajesh Sharma and the film stars Yash Soni, Malhar Thakar, Mitra Gadhvi, Hitu Kanodia, Kinjal Rajpriya, Isha Kansara, Tarjani Bhadla, Chetan Daiya and Prem Gadhvi.

Producer Pandit says, “This is my third Gujarati film with producer Vaishal Shah after ‘Days of Tafri’ and ‘Fakat Mahilao Mate’ and we are on the same page as far as making entertainment and cinema with a social message is concerned. I am also very excited about Yash Soni, Malhar Thakar and Mitra Gadhvi as all three are known for a very popular film ‘Chello Diwas’ which was their debut film and took them to the height of fame After that he also starred in ‘Shu Thayu’ which was a blockbuster and now this film will present him in an unexpected avatar.”

Producer Vaishal says, “Aanand bhai and I are passionate about making wholesome family cinema. We have high hopes from the Gujarati film industry in the years to come and this film is a unique part of this journey of entertainment.”

Director Rajesh Sharma says, “When we first heard the story, we all immediately wanted to make it. On the surface, the story is about three bigots, but it also has a message that life is short. -Taking cuts is futile. ‘Tron Ekka’ will appeal to a wider section of audience and we hope it is equally loved not only in Gujarat but across India.”
