New Delhi / Team Digital. Director Ram Madhvani has expressed his desire to make a series or film based on Sikandar Kher’s character Daulat from the International Emmy nominated Disney Plus Hotstar crime thriller series, Aarya. Ram and Sikandar are currently working on the third installment of ‘Arya’. During a recent live session, Ram recalled how he was impressed by Sikandar’s performance as Daulat, especially the emotion and intensity in his eyes.

He then added that “he would like to make a spin-off title centered on Daulat. There is a certain sensitivity, hurt, vulnerability, emotion and guilt in Daulat. All of which you emote without saying anything and just with your eyes.” All I had to do was put some music on and it was done.” Ram goes on to say, ‘Wealth has a certain samurai quality. The samurai tradition has been around in French movies and Hollywood movies and of course Japanese movies. Besides the boy being well built and tall, he has a certain calmness and silence that is very samurai-like.’

Formulating this idea, Rama expressed that there are two things about it. ‘I want to make a film or series on wealth only. And secondly, on Sikandar we have to do comedy on a character who is like a samurai. Delighted at the idea, Alexander replied, he would go mad. This is a very spoofy and crazy idea. This is the greatest thing I’ve heard. You would make a great comedy director because you really laugh at things.
