Bollywood tadka team. Veteran director of Telugu cinema K Vishwanath passed away on Thursday night. The director was 92 years old. K Vishwanath was running ill for a long time and on February 2 said goodbye to this world forever. His death is a great loss not only to Telugu cinema but also to the Bollywood world. Stars and PM Modi have condoled the death of Vishwanath through social media.
Paying tribute to K Vishwanath on Twitter, Anil Kapoor wrote- “K Vishwanath ji, I have learned a lot from you. Being with you on the sets of Ishwar gave me the feeling of being in a temple… you are my guru…”

Let me tell you, K Vishwanath’s first film as a director was ‘Govaram’ in 1965 starring actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. His biggest films include Shankarabharanam, Swathinuthyam, Sagara Sangamam and Swayamkrishna. The director’s last film was ‘Subhapradham’ in the year 2010. Along with this, he also acted in many blockbuster films like ‘Kalisundaram Ra’, ‘Narasimha Naidu’, ‘Tagore’ and ‘Mr. Perfect’.
K Vishwanath was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke, the highest award of Indian cinema in the year 2017. K Vishwanath had won five National Awards and 10 Filmfare in his life.
